Happy Homes Handyman Solutions

Starting out on a farm just north of Calgary, Tony learned the meaning of hard work following his dad around at the age of 4. He also learned how much he loved to build and repair things with his own two hands. "My dad was a trucker and we lived on a cattle farm so he took care of the cattle when he wasn't on the road, but when he was gone that task fell to myself and my mom and sister. When he was home, he would take me with him to fix a fence, or work on an engine. I guess spending that time and learning from him at such a young age instilled in me a love for fixing things."

Tony continued to build and learn. "Most of my uncles were in some form of trade. Painters, bricklayers, tile setters...and the list goes on. We were a close family when I was growing up and therefore I learned a lot."

From watching and helping his dad and uncles, to working in various trades as a teenager Tony's passion for solving problems and fixing things continued to grow. "Throughout my life people have always asked me to help them with maintenance and repair issues. From painting their house to freshen the look, to installing garburators and shelves. Leaking faucets, replacing light fixtures. Building fences, renovating bathrooms. Anytime those who know me have a problem, they look to me for a solution." Eventually Tony moved to Okotoks, AB,  And Happy Homes Handyman Solutions was born.

  From on the job training, attending SAIT courses and online research and training courses Tony continues to learn and grow as a handyman to this day. "I strongly believe that one should never stop learning. There will always be something I don't know, In order to be the best at what I do, I have to humble myself and learn from others. There is always someone out there that knows a better way or has more experience, and I strive to find them and glean as much from them as possible."  It is this passionate attitude towards constantly becoming better, and the true joy Tony gets from working in the Handyman industry that makes him such an integral part of our team.
